Anthony Hawley (b. 1977) is a New York City–based multidisciplinary artist, writer, and musician whose hybrid practice spans sound, video, drawing, painting, installation, text, and performance, driven by an interest in language, power, and technology. He has exhibited with Lubov Gallery, the Guggenheim's Works & Process series, and internationally, and is a two-time MacDowell fellow. Hawley is the author of two poetry collections and the hybrid poetry/drawing book dear donald… (2021), with writing published in The Paris Review, Artforum, Frieze, and elsewhere. He teaches in the MFA programs at Hunter College and MICA, and in SVA's BFA Fine Arts program.
