POSADAS is a multidisciplinary artistic duo based in Costa Rica, formed by Laracrafti and Igni Hernández. Their practice moves between clothing, sculpture, painting, video and music.

Since 2017, their work has explored ideas of origin, identity, and transformation through speculative cosmologies and mythopoeia. Drawing from Central American cultural contexts, science fiction, ecology, and queer perspectives, they create objects and images that imagine alternative ways of inhabiting the body and the world.

POSADAS has exhibited and presented work in galleries, festivals, and art spaces across Costa Rica, Mexico, the United States, Colombia, and Canada.
